To promote animal welfare through education, advocacy, community service, and providing a safe refuge for homeless, neglected, injured, and unwanted animals.
Our name is Steven’s Sanctuary- in honor of our spunky, iconic cat Steven, who we tragically lost in March 2017. It all started out as a bit of a joke amongst our family, once we started fostering and were introduced to the rescue scene, we created this picture perfect image of “Steven’s Sanctuary” in our head, and we would save as many cats as we could. We never expected to take it further than the little dream that we had made up in our heads, but after a long wait and a lengthy application process, in March 2019, we finally got approval for our 501(c)3 non-profit. We were official.
Things didn’t kick start until May 2019, when a few special kitties needed a place to go. We have rescued over 20 animals so far, and we hope to keep that number climbing! We “specialize” in those who need a little more help than others, whether its extra socialization, eye enucleations, or amputations. We are completely volunteer and foster-based, and we run solely off donations and public support.
THANK YOU to our volunteers who keep Steven’s Sanctuary running!

All animals deserve a medical attention and a loving home. We provide the vetting, you provide the love.
